| 3/7/2010 10:17:13 AM | I got home from Illinois and faced my challenge on work bench, to choose one engine combo and clean off rest of clutter for working on streamliner engine. 64 with XL rods on left or 57 ci with titanium rods on right. 64 ci won | ironwigwam | 4 ===== 55 | EDT DEL | |

| 2/12/2010 2:45:11 PM | Nomex boot to cover the bulkhead for the steering. I know fire proof is not required but above has to be better, iunless we need it behind the driver? | ironwigwam | 2 ===== 44 | EDT DEL | |
| 2/12/2010 10:08:41 AM | The guys from Minnesotans for Global Warming did a bluegrass lampoon Baba O'Riley that everybody in the snow belt can appreciate. Elmer said of it, "I saw 'The Who' perform Baba O'Reily (AKA Teenage Wasteland) for the halftime show at the Superbowl and was inspired to do this parody in honor of the horrible winter we're having. It's called "Frozen Wasteland" and in it I try to recreate the synthesizer part on the banjo. The Viking hat is in honor of the Vikings' great season!" | Eric | 3 ===== 39 | EDT DEL | |

| 2/10/2010 1:07:05 PM | Final assembly completed on the Rock Salt Scouts transmission and primary. All new bearings in the transmission, freshly welded case and primary cover. Nice new King Clutch installed. Need to finish installing the magneto and oil pump then it's ready for a test run. Plan to bolt it into the frame this weekend and build linkage for the clutch then mount chainguard. Getting closer. | Neil | 13 ===== 109 | EDT DEL | |

| 1/24/2010 5:32:37 PM | I participated in the 3rd annual Below Zero Hero Run this weekend. Here I am in West Fargo just prior to leaving for the Casselton North Dakota Vets club. This run raises funds for homeless vets and is put on by the US Military Vets MC. It was the warmest ever so far, but that made the roads pretty sloppy and slippery. A video will hopefully follow within the next couple of days. | Lyle | 20 ===== 283 | EDT DEL | |
| 1/22/2010 6:01:58 PM | I had a little slack time between working on the Guzzi, Norton and Salt bikes so I thought I might just as well get out the bits and pieces for the J.A.P. 600cc Flathead Special that I've been piling up for a couple of years. The engine is an old flatty from most likely a garden tractor, the frame is an old plunger BSA from 40s or 50s, gearbox & clutch is Norton, tank is BSA with speedometer mounted in the top...very nice that is, seat is a stock Lycett, fork is a cut down custom girder with a HD front wheel, tailight is AJS and headlamp is an old spot light. It should shake out to be a cool little special. | Neil | 4 ===== 119 | EDT DEL | |
| 1/20/2010 5:37:25 AM | While you chaps are working on your motorcycles, and busticating Ford trucks, my buddy L-Train and I we're riding ours. Despite the busted front suspension on the Guzzi, we had a nice ride down to the Old Saloon in Emigrant for a beverage and some quality time with the regulars. Little nervous on the way down with the sand, but the old river road was great fun on the way back. | Alex | 13 ===== 290 | EDT DEL | |
| 1/18/2010 1:26:00 PM | Ok, just to show Neil that I haven't been neglecting taking the Dyna apart so I can deliver him the frame during the World's Largest Lutefisk Dinner, here I am trying to get a frozen stiff hose off the fuel tank during the beginning stages of the dismemberment. Didn't I just put this bike together a year or so ago? | Lyle | 3 ===== 245 | EDT DEL | |
| 1/18/2010 1:01:03 PM | Here's what the Atlas looked like a few weeks ago | Neil | 7 ===== 244 | EDT DEL | |
| 1/17/2010 10:22:11 PM | I took my fire ball red/orange Norton Atlas apart a couple of weeks ago and sent frame along with fork covers and a few other bits to be powder coated. Got it all back on thursday so I figured I'd put it back together while Magoo paints the sheet metal. Couple more weeks and it should be almost together. I want to put on a belt drive primary and rear sets so I gotta scrounge some dough before it hits the road. Pretty quick turn around though if I used my old primary it will have only been down about a month. | Neil | 3 ===== 232 | EDT DEL | |
| 1/17/2010 4:34:52 PM | Tall Bike Ryan decided to get his tall unicycle rolling. Here he is on a test tun. | Lyle | 7 ===== 251 | EDT DEL | |
| 1/7/2010 4:41:19 AM | Its snowing like mad here, a very rare sight indeed. Spent the day burning around in me truck and towing stuck Landrovers out. Oh how we laughed at their feeble British technology. | chris | 13 ===== 331 | EDT DEL | |

| 12/31/2009 10:30:06 PM | I took my Norton Atlas apart initially to change out the main bearings as they were starting to grumble. The bike was looking a little nicked up after twenty odd years so I pulled it all the way down and dropped frame and a few other parts off for powder coating. Dropped the sheet metal off at Magoos for a fresh paint job while I was at it. Meanwhile I decided to just put my spare engine(on the left) in the bike and do the main bearings later. The spare engine I built I think last winter or maybe the one before. Damn I'm losing track of time. | Neil | 2 ===== 118 | EDT DEL | |
| 12/30/2009 6:11:31 PM | Every year I try to take time off around Christmas and New Year in an attempt to finish at least one project. This year was a good one I finished the "Budget" black and blue Sportster that I started about 18 months back. haven't added up reciepts yet but its going to be under $3000 total. Fun project too. getting stuff done on both salt bikes too. | Neil | 10 ===== 171 | EDT DEL | |
